The Salvation Army National Christmas Appeal
Integrated charity brand campaign involving concept development, art direction
Campaign Idea
'Signs of hope this Christmas'
'Signs of hope this Christmas'
The second of two major appeals each year - the Christmas Appeal. Christmas is a time when people really feel the pinch. The Salvos need donations to continue their good work over this period. Insight was to remind people that the money raised each year in the Christmas Appeal allows the Salvos to provide hope for people in need at a time they may be feeling their most alone. In our execution we showed needy members of the community holding signs that convey statistics of where the Salvos help is most appreciated.

The Salvation Army National Red Shield Appeal
Integrated charity brand campaign involving concept development, art direction, graphic design, digital design
Campaign Idea
'Shield those in need'
'Shield those in need'
The Salvation Army hold two major appeals per year - the Red Shield Appeal, and the Christmas Appeal. Our job was to remind people of the hands on assistance that's given by The Salvos from the money raised from the Red Shield Appeal. The insight was that people are generally unaware of the extent of work The Salvos do in the community. If they saw the statistics they would be encouraged to donate. Our execution used various scenarios to both show the statistics and the way in which The Salvos provide assistance to the community.
